CONGRATULATIONS
3rd Div Runners Up

 From Dave
I started the season as 'Asst Mgr' but due to our 'Mgr' leaving I took over  as of  29/11/03. I  played football from youth to adult at amateur standard but this is my first taste of managment, (so bare with me).
Ever since I was A young boy I have been A fanatical supporter of my then local team, 'Crystal Palace', (why couldn't  I have lived near Arsenal ?) I travel to as many games as I can.  Apart from football, my passions are fishing, cycling, walking and my family.
My aim for the team are for all the boys that are involved to have as much fun as possible and obviously to get to the top of our league and with this team It's a definite possibiliy.
From Simon
I'm an ex-squadie and passionate about football. (I support LIVERPOOL). My singular aim is to help coach these boys to a high standard. I know this squad had the ability to go to the top.

From Sonja
I'm the secretary / treasurer. I get on well with the parents and supporters, even though they do try to avoid me when it comes to 'subs' collection. I'm a housewife and although I enjoy my craftworks & gardening I really look forward to cheering the boys on at the weekend.

From Kathy
I help Sonja with the paperwork and I'm also the editor of our newsletter. I too look forward to cheering on the boys.

The Team Management

Dave  Charrington (Manager)
Dave inherited the team manager role halfway through the season. Even though Dave is a 'Crystal Palace' supporter he still likes to follow football when he can.
Dave is also one of the strange breed called 'fisherman' ... Yes one of those types that buys fishing kit that costs more than a new car, just to catch a fish.. and then throw it back. Dave has yet to be caught wearing one of those woollen bobble hats... We fear it is only a matter of time.
Simon Griffith (Coach)
You know those guys that look really tough but are soft teddy bears when you get to know them? The ones that turn to putty when it comes to kids? Yeah?
Well Simon ain't one of them.. when he says do 10 press ups...do 15..y'know..just to be safe. Simon is a Liverpool supporter.....'AY ! you looking at me?'
Sonja Charrington (Secretary/Treasurer)
Has the unenviable task of managing the finances and the ever increasing mountain of paper work.
Kathy Sage (Asst Secretary/Treasurer)
'Illegally Blonde'! Well what can we say.. Also does the paper work ,collects money and the teams newsletter.
