Larkfield Boys Under 14's 04~05 are part of the Larkfield Football Club which Incorporates Larkfield Boys, Larkfield Juniors, Larkfield Youth & Larkfield Girls.

I started out as just a parent, (as I am sure most Managers do). After a couple of years the Manager decided to emigrate to Australia, (of course). Before he went he asked if I was prepared to take over as Manager. Not wanting to let the boys down I asked Wayne if he would be prepared to help me as my skills in teaching football were limited! Wayne agreed to help and together we made a go of it. Our first full season together saw us win the Consolation Cup. We were thrilled. I later attended the FA Junior Management course and that gave me the bug to take things further. I then went on to take the FA Coaching certificate and The UEFA B Coaching Licence.

With the help of Wayne we have managed to bring the boys to play a good standard of football and have been pleased with the results we have achieved.

We are looking for experienced players to strengthen our squad. If you are interested in joining us then come along to Larkfield Recreation Ground at 6pm on a Wednesday evening.

Wayne Vincent

Known as "Vinny" ,(you will understand this if you met me). I have been coaching kids football for many years now with the same excitement as I had on the first day. This has been made all the more easy with the terrific kids we have in the squad. My commitment to the boys is one of stability and friendship with good coaching and a laugh, as long as I get 110% on match day, and 100% on training. "OI! Are you lot listening."

Sean L	The Cat. Has cat like reactions and has saved us many a game. An outstanding goalkeeper
Luke M	Luca: Outstanding captain. All round skilled player. Motivates the team in a grown up and professional manner.
James H	Twinkle Toes himself or Flea or Humpy or H diddy H you name it there are a multitude of names you could call this lad including loyal, dedicated and committed
Piers F	Fluke: Outstanding player with a lethal left foot. Scores from the most extraordinary angles without fail - was it a cross or a shot Piers?
Arran B	Task: What a worker! Causes defenders all sorts of trouble with his quick feet. Pound for pound probably the strongest player on the pitch
Stacey B	Heskey: Strong and creative midfielder. Has done a lot to help us out in defence this season for which we thank you Stacey. The quiet boy of the bunch that gives 100% commitment to training
Sam B	Sam the Man: A real work horse. Has played in several different positions for us in this his first season and has shown great skill and work rate which has made him a real team player
Brad S	The Ferret: The perfect right winger. Incredible work rate and crosses the ball into the box like Beckham, Eats like a horse!
Reiss V	Grease: Not many boys are faster than Reiss, He is solid and composed in defence and has a head made of concrete! What a fantastic season you have had
Perry I	Pez: What a right foot! Scored his only goal from a free kick from just outside the halfway line. The teams charmer without a doubt.
Neil K	Super Sub 1! Neil has improved his game without doubt over the last two seasons. He has turned up week in week out and may not always get to play for the amount he wants, but his patience is appreciated without doubt for his commitment to the team this season
Charlie W	Chazz: Super sub. Has suffered in the last two seasons with injury but has still managed to get his name on the score sheet.
Andy H	Terminator, Getting stronger every week. Not afraid to use his head and reads the game well.

A Little Bit of our History

The core of the team have been together now since the age of 6. They have had some success and were Invicta League Division 1 winners at Under 10's and Consolation Cup winners at Under 9's. Success has been limited since then but each year we have improved on our position in the League. What more could you ask.

Paintballing

On Saturday 8th May the under 13's parents and boys went paintballing. Despite the miserable weather everyone had a great time. There were plenty of bruises to show afterwards and some were in the most painful of places!
