On the attack
I'll have that ...thank you!
Early on, Dave has found that, as soon as the team talk starts, the players find the nearest blade of grass or the bird the other side of the park, far more irresistably fascinating.

The Team Management

Dave Jessop
David is the manager of the under 8's and is new to the club. Little did he know when he said he was interested in helping out, he would find himself with a team and his whole football life in front of him. David, being a Nottingham Forest fan, is currently not used to winning, so therfore it has been interesting for him to see the team score and win on a Saturday morning. During his first game in charged his mobile rang and we are still to find out was it Sky sports looking for an interveiw? Sven asking for his advise? Adam Capper asking if he could spare time to run another? No just the wife asking if he would ever come home again.

Brian Vanderhook
Little did I know how my Saturday's would change that sunny morning down Larkfield rec. At the start of the season. I met Adam to check the pitches prior to the start of the season and Janice asked could I spare a couple of Saturday's to coach the under 7's, some 5 months later and .. well you know. The team grew with great support from family and friends of all the children. I am advised soon my wife will starting bring me lunch to the school Saturdays to save me coming home. You know us millwall supporters.. we're just cuddley soft touches.

A little bit of History
The team started being coached by Alf and Brian and have played the first friendly. The team of ten players thoroughly enjoyed themselves and were well supported by family members and other people from the club. It was great to see a team of then under 7's  players playing with a smile on there faces.
