The Team Management
Rob Whenman
"The not so quiet one"
Rob has all the qualities you can hope for in a manager. Commitment , passion , loyalty; he really makes the boys want to play for the team. A great asset . He has also promised that he wont sing if we win the league. That should be enough to get the boys playing!!!!

A little bit of History
This team was formed for the 07~08 season being made up of the previous seasons Larkfield Boys U10 and Larkfield Juniors U10 . The Larkfield Boys were double winners in 2004/2005 at U8 and although there are only a few players left from that original side the style of football played has continued to be entertaining and free flowing. Rob has kept the bulk of his team from the Juniors U10 who narrowly missed promotion to the premier division in their own right last season by a solitary point. The team spirit and loyalty that Rob has installed in his team in previous years has left us with a merged team of excellent quality and promise going forward.
The side is currently playing in Division 1 and we have already seen that we have a great team with high expectations for the coming season.

Profiles
Jack Kenny
Originally with Rob , then with George , Jack has been one of the star goalkeepers at Larkfield. After some intense training he has shown some great potential and has already made some great saves. He has also shown that the "big goals" are not going to be a problem.
Ellis Whenham (Captain)
"Son of Rob" . A tank all over the pitch always giving 100 pct . Although strength and tackling are star qualities he has shown a great touch and excellent technique. A perfect captain.
James Warner
Been with George since the under 8s and has grown into a great all round player. Happier on the right wing he has played all over the pitch and never stops running , giving his all for Larkfield.
Jonathon Heasman
Has progressed throughout his time with Rob and now looks at home in the new team. Very skillful and full of running he has already shown he is versatile dropping from attack to defence when needed. Will be very important to the team this year.
James Lindsey
Unbelievably this is James' first competitive season with Larkfield. A natural goalscorer , notching up a hat trick on his league debut.Watch this space!
Lewis Fuller
Picked up by Rob in the transfer window(spotted doing keepie uppies) this lad has exceptional skill on the ball and shows great vision . A terrier in the tackle and doesnt stop running. Again this could be a great debut season for Lewis.
Chaz Geoffreys
Despite picking up a knock in the opening game chaz showed how far he has come this year. A brilliant performance at right back , he looks comfortable on the ball and will be very important to our success this season.
Ben Veness
Great speed and showing lots of confidence in his opening game Ben is looking very comfortable on the ball and showed some excellent technique.
Tom Payne
Not just content with having the brightest boots we have ever seen Tom has shone so far this season. Again excellent vision , great skills and strong on the ball. Has already scored a couple of great goals and looks like he is really enjoying his football.
Tom Saffell
Tom has been with Rob since the Juniors started and is getting better and better every week. Had an excellent start to the season defending against some very quick and tall attackers . Looks at ease on the ball and holds the back line really well . An important part of the team.
Joe

Billy
