The Team Management

Russell Jeffery
Russell Jeffery is in his 5th year as Manager of A Larkfield Juniors team.
The team have not won any honours yet but try to play football and not the kick and rush tactics so often seen at junior level.
Russell played at a fairly high level and is proud of the fact that he can still last a good 5 minutes in a competitive match!!
One of his favourite sporting moments was the David Beckham equaliser against Greece (Remember Adam?). He doesn't follow any particular football team but enjoys all good football.

A little bit of History
The team was formed in 1999 due to an "overflow" of boys from the now retired Larkfield Boys squad.
After much cajoling and arm twisting we managed to form a team. Our first season was succesful with us finishing in the top half of the table.
The following seasons saw us maintain an improvement but we have always just missed out on an honour.
